Take a walk in the Landes forest which includes the Arcachon basin.
Take a closer look at the cabins on stilts , which are buildings on stilts located in the middle of the Arcachon basin on the Île aux Oiseaux . They were originally used to monitor oyster beds.

Climb the Cap-Ferret lighthouse , which is a 53-metre high observation point from which you can admire the basin, the ocean and the Landes forest.
Stroll through the Ville d'hiver in Arcachon . It is a district located on the heights of the city. Many villas of Basque, Moorish or Anglo-Chinese influence are visible there. The residences of the Ville d'hiver are classified as a picturesque site.
